Acupuncture is a holistic medicine that looks at the manifesting symptoms and the underlying causes.
Derived from ancient Chinese medicine acupuncture uses extremely fine, single-use, sterile needles inserted at certain sites in the body for therapeutic or preventative purposes.
The effects of acupuncture are cumulative. A course of acupuncture usually creates longer-lasting relief than when a single treatment is used.

Treatments
Acupuncture
Very fine needles are placed in specific acupuncture points chosen according to your specific diagnosis.
Most patients feel a sense of deep relaxation during treatment.
Moxa
Moxa or Mugwort is a herb used to warm the acupuncture points thus increasing the flow of blood and Qi in certain parts of the body.
Cupping and Gua Sha
Gua Sha is the use of a disposable tool which is gently rubbed over the skin. This stimulates blood flow and dispels stagnation.
Cupping draws stagnant blood to the surface of the body so that healthy circulation can be restored leading to faster recovery.
